It’s important to us that you enjoy and cherish your Born item for many years, therefore we will provide you with a ‘Lab-Grown Diamond Promise’ of a comprehensive care plan that starts from the moment you purchase your ring. 
In the rare event of a manufacturing fault with your lab-grown diamond ring, be confident that we have you protected. 

What is a Lab-Grown Diamond Promise? 

It’s a comprehensive care plan that starts from the moment you purchase your ring. The Lab-Grown Diamond Promise includes the following free services: 

  • On-going cleaning, care, and repair advice 

  • First rhodium-plating or polishing free 

  • First engraving free 

  • First resize free 

1. FREE RESIZING 

One free resizing within 6 months of purchase, provided it is within our standard size range. 

Excludes the addition of sizing beads. If sizing beads are required, charges will apply according to our repairs and services price list. 

Resizing typically takes 7 days. 

2. FREE ENGRAVING 

Complimentary engraving available for lab-grown diamond rings where the design allows within 6 months of purchase. 

Some ring designs or styles may not be suitable for engraving. 

Engraving may take up to 7 days. 

3. FREE RHODIUM PLATING 

The first rhodium plating is free for all white gold lab-grown diamond rings. 

Any additional rhodium platings will incur charges according to our repairs and services price list. 

The process typically takes 1-2 weeks. 

4. FREE JEWELLER'S GRADE POLISH 

Complimentary jeweller’s grade polish is available once within the first 12 months of purchase. 

The polishing process usually takes 7 days. 

5. ADDITIONAL TERMS 

Exclusions: 

Offers apply only to lab-grown diamond rings purchased from us. 

Non-transferable, cannot be combined with other promotions, and not exchangeable for cash. 

Service Conditions: 

All services must be requested via our Concierge team.

Customers are responsible for any shipping costs if the ring needs to be sent to us. 

Additional Charges: 

Charges apply for any work beyond the complimentary services, such as sizing beads, multiple rhodium plating services, or extensive repairs.  

How to activate the Lab-Grown Diamond Promise?

  • You need to be opted in to receive our communications.
  • You need to have your lab-grown diamond follow up within 6 months. This can be arranged within any born, Fraser Hart or Fields stores. You can schedule an appointment through our Concierge team by submitting the form below.
